Steps

Take note of current site

Take note of module configs somehow, maybe keep the original website somewhere

Maybe export the module configs as well, but they may not be properly imported anyway

Copy the new theme files into theme folder

Copy new theme assets into warehouse child assets folder (or grab an updated child theme)
- If you get weird looking page elements, this may be the thing you missed

Copy new module files into modules folder, preferably delete old module files

Upgrade iqit modules

Upgrade revolution slider and import new sliders if you want

Clear caches
-
Maybe regen htaccess
Notes
- do not use files provided in upgrade from ... to ... folders
- be wary of upgrading iqitthemeeditor and iqitmegamenu as they may break. Restore their files if they did break and they may still work
